there is no list of all the things i could say, instead of telescope, late second birthday, i cannot see what makes you so fucking proud, you made the decision to not be around, how very telling you've got nothing to say, stonewall reactions for significant days, create a wasteland and you call it peace, minimize the decade's cloak and dagger routine, the hollow promise "i'll do what i can", the love you offer constructed of sand, logical insanity brick after brick, always amazed at your reactions to this, what's the difference between us a vast expanse, great plains escape, and what comes up will never die, repeat the phrase until you cry aloud, you hold a landmine with your sovereign teeth, chained to some ancient faded pictures of me, caress the steel you hold up high in your grasp, what once was found is now just too much to ask, everybody told you of what missteps you make, everybody from which you had to run away, cut the canyon with your eyes and demands and flood the valley where our love used to stand, there is no subterfuge all i see are leaves, that you mistook for what we all really need, unending narrative that you have spun well, plausible escape for the ones left here to dwell, even in death you may hold your head up high, never summer mountains are now melted and dry, what's the difference between us a vast expanse, great plains escape, and what comes up will never die repeat the phrase until you cry of lost time spent three decades old and and thrown about the space between us, no remorse and no regrets say you
